Hi!
My group is working on a project that requires us to know both the
position and the orientation of several roving robots against a fairly
noisy background. We have linked a video camera into a 33 MHz, 486
microcomputer equipped with an AI Tech procolor+ frame grabber.
Are there any systems already out there that can deal with this problem?
I imagine that if I slap some neon stickers onto the top of the robots,
for example, that there is some algorithm that can calculate their positions
and orientations given a snapshot taken from above.
We're looking, ideally, for a library of C routines to do this. If anybody
out there could recommend suitable commercial or public domain software,
we'd be most grateful.
Thanks!
