Graduate Student Award

Applications are solicited from outstanding prospective doctoral
students in COMPUTER VISION/IMAGE PROCESSING in the department
of Computer Science.

One student will be selected for financial support for the Graduate
Student Award.

The Award provides a yearly (12 month) stipend according to the
the scale for Graduate Student Researcher at the University of
California plus tuition, fees, etc. Initially the award will be
made for one year of support, with possible extension for two
more years based on progress made in the first year.

Student supported by the award must be U.S. citizen or national
of the United States.

The research area targeted is model-based recognition, feature
extraction, multisensor image analysis and use of digital maps
for recognition.

The starting date is flexible, but we'd like to fill the position soon.

and GRE general scores (Required) and subject scores
