Nielsen Media Research, a division of Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, is
the recognized leader in providing television audience measurement
data. The development of advanced technologies to support this goal
offers exciting opportunities for computer professionals.
A full-time position is available immediately for a person who has a
minimum of 2-3 years of research experience in the field of face
recognition in either an academic or industrial setting. Experience in
the areas of low-resolution face recognition, face modeling, face
tracking, body tracking, and tracking in general is a plus. An
individual who has recently completed a Ph.D or an M.S. thesis in these
areas would be ideal.
A Ph.D. is strongly preferred in the fields of Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or an
equivalent area. An M.S. degree in these areas is also acceptable.
The candidate must be proficient in "C" with experience in "C++" a
plus. Openings are also available for off-site consultants meeting the
above requirements.
