SRI International is an independent, not-for-profit research and consulting
organization in Menlo Park, California performing a broad spectrum of
problem-oriented research and development under contract to government,
industry, and business. SRI offers a competitive salary and benefits

We are looking for recent graduates with expertise in the areas of computer
vision, particularly in video imagery. We expect to begin a number of new
projects in augmented reality, video surveillance, and mobile robotics that
require interpreting video imagery for various real-time recognition and
tracking tasks.
The ideal person would have a solid background in computer vision, pattern
recognition, object recognition and be able to conceive and implement
algorithms that advance the state-of-the-art, and implement them in
software. Other desirable areas of experience include content-based
indexing and retrieval of imagery, video compression, and robotics.
Experience with both Unix and PC software development environments is also
desirable. We also may have a position available for a summer student.
