We are looking for a number of highly qualified people to be a
"hands-on" participant in the ongoing design and development of some
image processing and computer vision software systems. ASIA VISION has
clients in government, industrial and commercial sectors, and
collaborates with recognized academic/research institutions and large
businesses to develop and apply new solution methods to current and
future technology needs.
Req'd Experience: Computer Vision and Image Analysis
Desirable:
* A high level of self-motivation and desire to learn are
essential for this position.
* Strong algorithm and software development skills (Matlab,
C, C++, etc.)
* Working knowledge in Neural Networks
Level: MSc., MPhil or PhD in Mechnical/Electrical/Electronic
Engineering or Computer Science/Engineering
Duties: Applied Research, Development and Implementation of Image
Processing Applications. Successful applicant will contribute
to one or more projects in the area of character recognition and
content-based video indexing and retreival.
Deadline for application: Until position filled.
Annual Salary: upto HK$455,000 (about US$58,800)
