Situated in the thriving European capital city of Cardiff, the
University has been rated 7th out of 100 in the most recent independent
assessment of quality of research. Awarded a 5A rating in the 2001
Research Assessment Exercise, the Department of Computer Science has
benefited from significant investment and is looking for experienced
lecturers to further enhance our computer science provision. We are
looking to strengthen existing research groups, so an interest in Vision
and Geometry, Parallel and Scientific Computation, or Object and
Knowledge based Systems would be particularly desirable.
