The Vision For Vehicles group at Sarnoff Corporation (part of the Vision
Technologies Lab) has experienced tremendous growth in the areas of
applying computer vision to exciting on-road commercial vehicle
applications and off-road autonomous unmanned ground vehicles. The
group uses Sarnoff's video-rate Acadia image processing hardware as well
as conventional processors for real-world applications.
You should have a Ph.D. in a computer vision related field or equivalent
experience, and experience designing, implementing, developing and
optimizing real-time computer vision algorithms and vision systems.
Demonstrated research or industrial experience in one or more of the
following areas is highly desired: real-time stereo computation, 3-D
modeling and reconstruction, optical flow, target detection and
tracking, camera calibration and robust vision algorithms. Candidates
should have 3+ years of C/C++ programming experience. Experience with
vision on commercial or unmanned ground vehicles is a plus.
