Montreal, Canada, is a company specializing in the development of
products based on automated License Plate Reading (LPR). It is currently
expanding its research team to create new LPR products and is seeking to
hire two computer vision specialists:
Position #1
A computer vision specialist to take a leadership role as the head of the
research team. He will report directly to the President and be responsible
for the development of advanced vision products. The requirements are:
· A self-starter with excellent technical and communication skills.
· An undergraduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with specialization
in computers.
· A Masters and Ph.D. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a
thesis in computer vision. The degree should have been obtained at a
university with an active computer vision group.
· Formal courses in computer vision, computer graphics, machine learning
and artificial intelligence.
· A superior academic record.
· At least 5 years experience in an industrial environment.
· A team player.
Position #2
A computer vision specialist who will work as part of a research team and
report to the head of the research team. The requirements are:
· A self-starter with excellent technical and communication skills.
· An undergraduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with specialization
in computers.
· A Masters degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with a thesis in
computer vision. The degree should have been obtained at a university with
an active computer vision group.
· Formal courses in computer vision, computer graphics, machine learning
and artificial intelligence.
· A superior academic record.
· At least 2 years experience in an industrial environment.
· A team player.
These positions are well compensated and will give candidates an opportunity
to perform original research while working very closely with other members
of the AutoVu team.
