Position for Post-Doctoral Researcher in Facial Expression Analysis
A postdoctoral position in the area of facial expression analysis
applied to neuropsychiatric disorders is immediately available at the
Section of Biomedical Image Analysis (SBIA), of the Department of
Radiology, University of Pennsylvania ( http://www.rad.upenn.edu/sbia
).
The successful candidates must have background in Computer Vision,
Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
The project will involve development of methods in the broad area of
facial expression analysis using videos and 3D surfaces (detection,
tracking, manifold-based analysis, correlation with clinical responses).
No background in neuropsychiatry is expected. The candidate should
possess good programming skills (C, C++, Matlab) as well as good writing
ability.
SBIA is a dynamically growing medical image analysis group, including
researchers and collaborators from diverse fields and offers exciting
opportunities to researchers with interests in applying math, computer
vision and engineering knowledge and models to the rapidly growing
