A unique opportunity has arisen for
RESEARCH ENGINEER - GRAPHICS & VIDEO
Scope:
As a part of our R&D team, and working in close relationship with the
University of Liege, you will design, develop and maintain several image
and video processing algorithms for the sport broadcasting domain. The
position requires the ability to work closely with peers in a fast paced
dynamic environment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- In close relationship with researchers at the University of Liege,
acquire the knowledge and extend the algorithms used for image
rectification and target tracking in sport video sequences.
- Analyze, design, develop, debug, unit test and provide internal
documentation for new and existing software modules.
- Develop in C++ for Windows with external and EVS=E2=80=99s own libraries
and modules.
- Integrate and test individual software components coded by yourself
and other members of the team.
PROFILE:
- High competence in image and video processing and good mathematical
skills, or a PhD degree in a related field
- Proven track record of software development in C/C++.
- Some experience in software development for multithreaded
applications and Real Time industrial environment would be an asset.
- You are rigorous, pragmatic and solutions oriented.
- You are proactive and dynamic to fulfil your development objectives.
- You are open-minded and work closely with peers.
- You have a working knowledge of English and are willing to develop
your French speaking abilities.
